European Heritage Days
Description
The 42nd European Heritage Days.
The monastic farm at Aulps Abbey houses a permanent exhibition, which will be completely refurbished in November 2020, devoted to the daily life of monks in the Middle Ages. The three-hectare estate is also home to a garden of simple plants, a medieval kitchen garden and a conservatory orchard, an apiary and the splendid remains of the 12th-century Cistercian abbey church of Sainte-Marie-d'Aulps.
The European Heritage Days are the perfect time to rediscover the site!
