Description
The Charles Poncet high school: "L'Horlo", "Le Charles", created in 1848 under the name: "Royal Watchmaking School", then "National Watchmaking School", has today become a comprehensive high school approximately 1700 students.
Building on this prestigious past and resolutely focused on the future, our establishment offers a wide diversity of training paths, specialties and options: from CAP to BTS, including professional, technological and general baccalaureates.
The ten specialties of the general sector and the attractiveness of the industrial (STI2D) or tertiary (STMG) technological series give our students every prospect of ambitious success in higher education, thanks in particular to support at the orientation, preparation for the baccalaureate and options and workshops of excellence (Sciences Po workshop, art history, plastic arts, theater and Latin options).
The professional path is also a path to success and excellence. From the CAP to the professional baccalaureate, the personal orientation project of each of our students makes it possible to envisage a successful first integration into the local environment or a continuation of studies towards our four renowned industrial BTS, in school or in apprenticeship.
The family of Professions in the Production of Mechanical and Industrial Assemblies (REMI) aims to enable secondary school students to acquire common skills to then move towards our specialties of microtechnology technician, technician in the production of mechanical products ( TRPM) production production and monitoring option (RSP) or technician in the production of mechanical products (TRPM) tool production and maintenance option (RMO).
From the second professional year, students can also access the new Bac Pro 3 D modeling and prototyping.
